I have made some small changes to the registration process. Hopefully, they will deter the spammers. Consider this place once more open to new registrations. Welcome all CHSS ALUMNI.

A number of you had asked me if there was some way to create a space here where people could share their fond memories of CHSS Alumni who have passed away. In response to the request, I have created a new public group called “In Memory of …”. Comments posted here will also appear in the Forums section topic “Alumni In Memorium”.

Please feel free to leave your respectful comments here.

I have decided to close new registrations on this site for a short while. I am tired of battling the spammers. Everyday now I am having to erase about a dozen new registrations that are full of nonsense information. If there is anyone here who has inside information on how to solve the spammer registrations that seem to plague the WPMU/BP configuration, I would appreciate hearing from you. Yes, I have tried all the obvious methods and even some esoteric ones found in the BP forums but, so far, nothing seems to work.

You can still find a link to the former old Alumni site in the Stay Connected links section at the bottom of the right sidebar. This is advance warning to everyone that this information will no longer be available after June 1, 2010.

If you are currently registered here, it would be appreciated if you would encourage others (on the old site) to register. Let’s try and move over as many former Alumni as possible in the next couple of months.
